Groundwork Films, based in San Francisco, is dedicated to informing and enlightening the public on issues related to the world beyond our industrialized society. The Executive Producer is Michael Fasman.
Michael has traveled throughout the Third World volunteering his time and skills to produce promotional documentaries for non-profits. His video on the Pakistan earthquake for Relief International helped raise $10million for relief and reconstruction efforts. He went to Afghanistan to document community-based development initiatives that are empowering women and youth. Recently he returned from Mexico where he documented a schools program for the indigenous poor.
Michael also produced a documentary on the plight of the Pacific salmon, and is involved in other multimedia projects to help raise awareness, and funds, for non-profits. More information at http://www.groundworkfilms.com
