Career Counselors Consortium Presents Pro Bono Programs on Career-Related Topics to Nonprofit Organizations

by Bettina Seidman | gift type: Skills

Founded in 1997, the Career Counselors Consortium (www.careercc.org) is an organization of professional, credentialed career consultants celebrating their Tenth Anniversary this year. Members work in private practice, corporations and universities, and deal with every career issue from career choice, job search, and performance coaching to starting a business.

During 2006-2007, we have been presenting a series of free events as a community service for nonprofit organizations in the New York metropolitan area.

We have presented workshops for Gilda's Club - the cancer support group founded by Gene Wilder and cancer psychotherapist Joanna Bull in honor of Gilda Radner, SHARE – a self-help organization for survivors of breast or ovarian cancer, CAREER GEAR – a national organization that provides free business clothing and job-retention support services to low-income men, and the DOROT Wellness Program for Seniors.
