Yoke yourself with Humility and Serve with Passion

Hi. I am a License Clinical Social Worker. I am reading the book GIVING with interest. I am writing a book about how to find your passsion and gifts to use to help people. I would like to use the information in Resources. I was planning to put such resources in my own book, but yours is so concise and why reinvent the wheel. I lived and work in Appalachia for 27 yrs. Other than going to Union College in Barbourvile, KY. I did any thing from taking food to people to driving the sick to The University Of Kentucky Medical Center. Many had not even left their "holler" I was one of the students that started a service program in 1969 at the college and I am glad to report that it is going strong.

The focus of the book is for those that haven't volunteered because they do not think they have anything to give or because they do not know where to begin with all the needs out there. It will be a faith based book for I can not express the importance of giving time and presence without my acknowledge of God and Christ. Looking forward to hear your response.
