Eco-Access - an environmental organization for empowering people, especially children, with disabilities

by Mazo Silimela | gift type: Skills, Time

People who are blind, deaf, intellectually and/or physically disabled are often NOT considered in the planning and implementation of environmental programmes and facilities. Our work is based on the philosophy of inclusion, ensuring appropriate access for people of all ages and levels of ability.

I have just started working with this extraordinary non-profit organization called Eco-Access. Among other activities: we have the twinning process, which encourages integration between disabled and non-disabled people within the wilderness environment.

I will be volunteering my time and skills in assisting them with sponsorship, administration and accounting.
