my adopted sister

Hi, I m Roxhana from Malaysia and i am 28 years old. I am a single mom to a 6 year old son named, Redhuan. I have a sister, whom adopted by my dad. Her name is Hasina. She was a Burmese (Rohingya) refugee and we took her from the street when she was a little from her guardian begging on the street. Since my dad has many other children to look after, thus i somehow take more in charge of her needs. She's about 10 years old now.

As i m still looking some assistance for her valid birth certificate of Malaysia, meanwhile i m teaching her how to read. And also some math skill. I plan to let her take a tailor course so that she can earn some income when she become a teeenager. It will be a lot helpful to boost her self esteem and most of all to be independent one day.

It is hard to let other family members of mine to treat her just like ordinary family member since they all know that she's not from our original family, but through my believe in her and always stressing out to them that Hasina is also part of our family, thus it some how could defend her dignity and personality in our family. Hasina is more matured than other kids of her age, very sweet and smart. I m proud of her for still be patience and enjoying her life even though the double standard she receives from most of my family members.

I plan to make more money so i can move out and have my own home soon and bring her to stay with me. I want to change the world in front of me first before i change the world further.

I'm also interested to do charity works and involve with one local political party who has the exposure to fund some of the needy people cases. And i told Hasina of my interest and she's interested to go along with me to the needy people's houses to take their photos and submit their cases to the right people in charge for some help. She is aware of my interest and believe it is a good way to help and support me morally for my effort towards improving it.
